Carving Knives ! These knives are crafted from
exotic hardwoods such as diamondwood, cocobolo, and kingwood. Some are also made with India staghorn, black micarta, and ebony.
Blade material is high carbon steel, approximately 63 Rockwell in hardness. For complete details click the "Knives" button below. Roughouts Roughouts
are actually woodcarving blanks that enable woodcarvers
to get to the "fun" part of carving a figure or
other project made of wood. Roughouts are being used
heavily in the teaching of woodcarving by instructors.
Ordering information, and some pictures of original
carvings by Ed Zinger, along with their corresponding
roughouts, can be viewed by clicking the "Roughouts" button below. Teaching
Aids At this
time, we are offering two different teaching aids. The "Nose
Pickin Stick" is a casting of an original carving that
depicts a step by step process in the carving of a nose. The
"Eye Pokin Stick" is a casting of an original carving
that depicts a step by step process in the carving of an eye.
Both are very helpful and may be viewed and purchased by clicking
the "Teaching Aids" button below. ![]()
