About the Seminar
Classes are limited to approximately 15 carvers per instructor.
Indoor heated/Air Conditioned Facility
Instructions on tool sharpening and the painting of carvings are provided.
Classes are designed for beginners, as well as the more experienced.
Supplies are available for purchase. Blanks - Tools - Knives - Books - Etc.
The Rendezvous pig roast and "check-in" will enable carvers to meet the staff prior to classes. Door prizes will be given away.

Dear Woodcarver,
The 25th anniversary of the annual Woodcarving Rendezvous at Branson, Missouri has been scheduled for May 31st through June 5th, 2009. The Rendezvous is a five day woodcarving/wood burning seminar designed for the beginner as well as the more experienced. Classes are from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday in the convention center of Compton Ridge Campground. Traditional after hours carving projects will be available all who want to participate. The carving area is in an air conditioned facility that will be locked each evening so that tools and equipment may be left over night. (Be sure to bring a table/clip-on lamp to aid in your lighting.)
The Rendezvous Pig Roast is scheduled for Sunday evening, May 31st on a pay basis, at approximately $10.50 per person including tax. "Check-in" and the pig roast will allow carvers to meet old and new friends, view the carving area, and be eligible to win door prizes which will include carvings carved by the instructors. Notification of "check-in", the pig roast, and a schedule of events will be provided approximately two weeks prior to the seminar.
The location of the seminar is in the scenic resort town of Branson, Missouri located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Non-carvers and family members will have many activities to occupy their time during carving hours. However, in the tradition of the Rendezvous, craft classes (optional) will again be scheduled for non-carvers.
The cost of the seminar is $185.00, a minimum of $95.00 (non refundable) is required to make a reservation. The remaining $90.00 (non refundable)is due by March 1, 2009.
The Compton Ridge Campground and Motel are recommended for those attending the seminar.
